GRADUATE WITH A BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN ETHNOGRAPHY
TOPPANTÓ FACILITATOR

I am Smid Zsófi, one of the Toppantó facilitators. I have been an active member of ”Tápiómente Táncegyüttes” in Nagykáta since I was a child, where I learned the love of folk dance and folk music from excellent dance artists. It has affected my whole life, moreover, keeping our traditions in mind and living it through defined not just my interest but also my way of thinhing. Following this path, in 2020, I graduated with a degree in Ethnology from Eötvös Loránd University, where i gained insight into the scientific background. Working with children has also been present all my life, thus in my twenties the idea was born to work with children while using the values left to us to pass on knowledge and promote development. It was a pleasure to meet Andi, who represents exactly these goals. We are now on this path together.
